On the 29th of July 5054, a married couple aboard a cruise ship witnessed a streak of white light slam into the ocean at approximately 5:00AM. They captured the unknown object’s arrival in a photo (right).

Star Com’s planetary defense grid ‘Angelkeeper’ was unsuccessful in disintegrating the incoming object and didn’t detect it before impact. This is Angelkeeper’s first system failure.

The Federal Department of Order were quick to react, salvaging the unknown item and running extensive tests before bringing it ashore. On-board scientists claimed it was a perfect sphere, sparkling silver in colour with a bright light emanating from it’s cracked surface. Once ashore, it took a different form… and has been missing since.
